Students may retake tests on Tuesday or Thursday from 8 to 9 or from 3 to 4. They may also come to math lab on Monday or Wednesday to retake a test.
Students retake the test under the same conditions as before, such as with an open textbook or a closed textbook. The test may be identical to the one previously taken (if I have a copy available), or it may be an alternate version.
To maintain a policy of honesty for all students, tests must be taken at school and students must surrender the original corrected versions of the test to me. I do strongly encourage each student to first rework all incorrect problems on every test that I hand back in class. In addition, she or he should work problems from the textbook that cover the same material. Note that all textbook problems list lesson numbers. We sometimes work the odd problems as quizzes on the responders or on paper.
